Dr Liang Dong
Title: Consultant Doctor of Urology
Dr Dong received his medical degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. In 2021, he came back to China after his 3.5-year postdoctoral training in Johns Hopkins.
Dr Dong is an attending physician, associate researcher, and master's supervisor in the Department of Urology at Renji Hospital Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, with 10 years of experience in the field of urology He conducted postdoctoral research at the Brady Urological Institute of Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in the United States and later received clinical training at the Toronto General Hospital in Canada. He has presided over 6 projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation for Young Scientists and the Shanghai Natural Science Foundation. He currently serves as a young member of the Urology Branch of the Shanghai Medical Association, a reviewer for several SCI journals, and has published over 30 research papers as the first author in international journals.
Clinical Interest
- Dr Dong’s specialty and interests include the diagnosis and treatment of urological diseases, especially urological cancer. He has devoted in the clinical and research work of urological tumours, especially prostate cancer, and is competent in the early screening of prostate tumours, precise puncture diagnosis, and comprehensive treatment of prostate tumours at all stages.
