Dr Li Maoting, Chief Physician and Professor, expert in orthopaedics/spinal surgery at Raffles Hospital Beijing, and Technical Director of Spinal Surgery at Beijing Aerospace General Hospital.

 

Graduated with a master's degree from Peking University Health Science Centre, Dr Li has over 30 years of clinical experience in orthopaedics. He has completed advanced training in spinal surgery at University Hospital Bonn (Germany) and in joint surgery at Prince of Wales Hospital, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and can provide comprehensive orthopaedic care with enriched experience in both China and international settings. Dr Li Maoting is skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of common trauma and difficult diseases in multiple fields of orthopaedics. He has completed the first case of artificial ankle joint replacement for malignant tumours at the lower end of the tibia in both China and abroad. 

 

Dr Li Maotings clinical expertise includes spinal degenerative diseases, trauma, tumours and deformity correction; hip and knee arthroplasty and revision; femoral head avascular necrosis; complex fractures and non-union; limb and finger replantation; bone and soft tissue tumour management; limb deformity correction and paediatric orthopaedic conditions. He provides patients with a comprehensive orthopaedic diagnosis and treatment plan.

He has published more than 10 academic papers and contributed to 6 orthopaedic textbooks.
