Dr Gu obtained his master degree of Chinese and Western Integrative Internal Medicine from Sichuan University in 2006. He is a member of Lipology Group of Hepatology Branch of Shanghai Medical Association, a member of Colorectal Group of Digestive Endoscope Branch of Shanghai Medical Association. He was a visiting scholar in France in 2019. He participated in the National Outstanding Youth Foundation and the National Natural Science Foundation, and published a number of core journals, statistical source journals and SCI papers.
He has 17 years of clinical experience in internal medicine and works in the field of digestion in Shanghai Pudong Hospital affiliated to Fudan University. He has been the deputy chief physician of the Department of Gastroenterology in Shanghai Pudong Hospital affiliated to Fudan University since 2018 and has been a consultant physician in Shanghai Raffles Hospital since 2023.
