Dr Xu has worked in the Dermatology Department of Shanghai No. 8 People's Hospital for more than 20 years. He has participated and led in many scientific researches and has published papers in many national scientific journals. In 2001, he presented at the National Dermatovenereal Diseases Clinical Meeting organized by Chinese Medical Association and received the Award of Excellence. In 2005, he received the Outstanding Youth Award by Yangjinlong Medical Foundation of Shanghai No. 8 People's Hospital.
He used to serve as the Team Leader of laser quality control in Xuhui District, and a member of the Dermatology Community of China (Shanghai) Association of Chinese Medicine. Dr Xu was previously invited as a visiting lecturer for Dermatology at the Shanghai Academy of Health Sciences.
Clinical Interest
- Dr Xu's specialty and interests include the management of allergic dermatitis, viral dermatosis, pigmented skin disease; such as chronic eczema, atopic dermatitis, urticaria, flat warts, condyloma acuminatum (genital warts), herpes zoster, chloasma, senile plaques, vitiligo, etc.
