Dr Jenny Lin comes from Taiwan, China. She studied at Capital Medical University in Beijing and earned her Bachelor of Clinical Medicine in 2009. Then she furthered her studies in the UK and completed a Postgraduate in Psychology from Nottingham Trent University in 2013. Dr Jenny has obtained certificates of BLS and ACLS. She specialises in internal emergency medicine, emergency surgery, critical care, and emergency resuscitation.

From 2013 to 2014, Dr Jenny participated in New Zealand, German, and British international NGOs as medical volunteer who helped in African countries like Ghana, Burkina Faso, and Malawi. Cooperating well with peers from the USA, the UK, Australia, Ireland, and Vietnam, she aided local clinics in the rural area to cure the natives. There she gained many tropical medicine experiences and was keen on cross-cultural communications.

When she returned to China, Dr Jenny started to work as an ER resident in a Taiwanese funded hospital called Chang-Geng in Xiamen. She took care of many ER cases ranging from internal medicine, and surgical medicine to OBGY. She then worked in All Star International Medical Consulting Company in Beijing to handle patients who required international medical escort and coordination. Before joining Raffles Hospital Beijing, she worked in Beijing Red Cross Emergency Centre as a paramedic doctor who followed 999/120 ambulances all around the city taking part in all kinds of urgent medical calls for critical emergency resuscitation and treatments.
