Dr Rida obtained 2000 her Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech & Language Pathology and Audiology from the Catholic University of Pernambuco, Recife (Brazil). In 2006 Dr Rida won her Master Degree in Phonetics (Clinical Pathology) from the University of Paris Diderot (France). In 2012. Dr Rida obtained her PhD in Linguistic and Psychology at the University of Paris Diderot and Paris Descartes University (France).

Dr Rida is a paediatric speech and language therapist with over twenty years of working experience in hospitals or medical institutions in Europe and South America. She has expertise in therapeutic intervention for children and adolescents with language and social communication disorders. She also has a huge clinical experience in diagnosis, assessment, therapy, training, and consulting in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.

Before joining Raffles Hospital Beijing, Dr Rida worked as an invited researcher at the University of Strasbourg and University of Parma. In 2019, Dr Rida joined Parkway Medical in Shanghai as Senior Speech Therapist.
