Dr Miao Yunhui started her career as an O&G doctor after her study at Maternal and Child Health Care Department of Henan Medical University. Later she furthered her study and earned her Bachelors of Clinical Medicine at Beijing University in 2014. In order to improve her professionalism, she was certified in Midwifery and Family Planning Operations in 1998. She also underwent trainings at Reproductive Centre of Peking University Third Hospital in 2013, and was certified in Endoscopic diagnosis and treatment of GYN from the Renaissance Beijing Hospital.

Before joining Raffles Hospital Beijing, Dr Miao worked as an obstetrician and gynecologist in several well-known hospitals in China. With over 20 years of clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology, she is proficient in diagnosis and treatments of common gynecological diseases as well as gynecological endocrine diseases, including uterine fibroids, ovarian cyst, endometriosis, fallopian tube diseases, functional uterine bleeding, polycystic ovary syndrome as well as prevention and treatment of perimenopausal and postmenopausal diseases.

She also specialises in prevention and treatment of cervical diseases, pre-screening for cervical cancer and standard therapy, pregnancy healthcare, high-risk pregnancy management, etc. Her clinical practice also includes minimally invasive surgery (including Colposcopy surgery, laparoscopic surgery, hysteroscopic surgery and Leep knife surgery).
