Dr Lei Xiuzhen graduated from the Department of Medicine at Beijing Medical University. She currently serves as a Chief Physician and Master’s Supervisor at China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences (CACMS). She has been awarded the title of "Good Doctor of the People" by the official media and has served as a mentor for international students under the World Federation of Acupuncture and Moxibustion Societies. Dr Lei has also been featured as the specially invited health expert in renowned health programs on BRTV, including Honyaradoh (Wellness Hall), Memories of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Health Beijing.


Dr Lei has been actively involved in international healthcare services, providing medical care for patients from over 40 countries and regions Her clinical achievements in smoking cessation and weight management have received wide recognition and were featured in German media reports.


Dr Lei has published more than 20 academic papers and authored six medical books, one of which received the Scientific Publication Award from the China Association of  Chinese Medicine in 2004. In 1999, she was recognized as an outstanding young and middle-aged medical expert and included in the China Talent Database.
