Dr Song Hui is an Associate Chief Physician specializing in Rheumatology. She obtained her Master's degree in Medicine from Tianjin Medical University. She previously served as the Founding Director of the Department of Rheumatology at Beijing Jishuitan Hospital (2004–2024) and is currently practicing in the Department of Rheumatology at Beijing Jishuitan Hospital, the Fourth Clinical Medical College of Peking University. With more than 30 years of clinical experience, Dr Song has extensive expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic and autoimmune diseases.
Dr Song specializes in the diagnosis and management of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), Sjögren's syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, spondyloarthritis, psoriatic arthritis, gout, osteoporosis, and connective tissue diseases. She has devoted her career to frontline clinical practice in rheumatology, with a particular focus on the early diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory arthritis and musculoskeletal complications associated with rheumatic diseases. She also provides comprehensive guidance on patient self-management and rehabilitation, while offering specialized care for patients with rheumatic diseases during the perioperative and pregnancy periods.
Dr Song has published numerous clinical research papers and contributed to the authorship of two medical textbooks. She currently serves as a Standing Committee Member of the Gout and Hyperuricemia Collaborative Group of the Chinese Society of Internal Medicine, a Committee Member of the 10th Rheumatology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, a Standing Committee Member of the Beijing Rheumatology Society (4th–7th Committees), a Committee Member of the 3rd and 4th Rheumatology Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association and its Gout Committee, and Chair of the Rheumatology Committee of the Beijing Society of Perioperative Medicine.
