Dr. Li earned her master's degree in plastic surgery from Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, in 2010. In 2013, she obtained a joint doctoral degree from Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Li has been practicing as a plastic surgeon for 18 years. She has trained at Wuhan Union Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Shanghai Ninth People’s Hospital, and Shanghai Changzheng Hospital. She has also served as an attending plastic surgeon at several medical aesthetic clinics in Shanghai. In 2025, Dr. Li joined Raffles Hospital Shanghai as a senior attending plastic surgeon.
Dr. Li has been invited as a speaker at numerous international academic conferences, including cadaver dissection training at Singapore General Hospital, AMWC Monaco as the first Chinese-speaking speaker, the Australian Dermatology Society Annual Meeting, the Indonesian ISWAM Conference, and the Thailand AMI live injection demonstration, all of which have been widely acclaimed.Dr. Li is a member of the International Society of Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), the China Aesthetic Plastic Society, and the Shanghai Plastic Surgery Society, among other professional organizations.
