Direct Billing
Raffles Medical accepts health plans offered by most major insurance carriers. We update our list of insurance providers frequently, so call us today if you don’t see yours listed.
How we handle insurance at Raffles Medical
We bill your insurance provider for each visit, and you cover the co-payment or deductible, just like you would at any doctor’s office. The amount that you owe depends on the specific health insurance plan you have. If you have any questions, call the number on your insurance card to learn more about your coverage. For your co-payment or for those who prefer to pay out-of-pocket, we accept checks, debit, and credit cards.
Please note: We only accept primary insurance coverage for direct billing.
Direct Billing Service
For the convenience of patients, Raffles Hospital Beijing has established a direct billing service for medical expenses with over 50 domestic and international insurance companies. If your medical insurance company is on our direct billing list, you do not need to pay in cash. We will settle the medical expenses directly with your insurance company.
Please bring your medical insurance card and personal identification documents (ID card or passport) on your first visit. At the time of payment, the cashier will ask you to fill in the relevant items on the insurance claim form and register your insurance policy information in the system. On your subsequent visits, you will not need to fill out the insurance form again. Just provide your signature, and we will handle the other matters on your behalf.
If You Do Not Have Medical Insurance
You may consider the Raffles Health Care New Gold Member Deposit Plan or the Raffles (Family) Wellness Membership Cards to receive discounts on outpatient, emergency and hospitalization charges.
