1976 Year

Dr Loo Choon Yong and Dr Alfred Loh took over Teng's Clinic at Cecil Street and Maxwell House on 1st Aug.

1980 Year

Name of the practice was changed to Raffles Medical Group (RMG).

1993 Year

Raffles SurgiCentre opened on 18th Sep as the first standalone day surgery centre in Southeast Asia.

1995 Year

RMG opened its first overseas clinic in Hong Kong.

1997 Year

RMG became the first full-fledged healthcare provider to be publicly listed in Singapore on 11th Apr.

2001 Year

Raffles Hospital commenced operations on 31st Mar.

2010 Year

RMG opened its first medical centre in Shanghai.

RMG invests to manage 10 clinics in China, Vietnam and Cambodia.

2015 Year

Raffles Medical Osaka, the Group's first medical centre in Japan, was opened.

2016 Year

Opening of Raffles Holland Village, a retail mall with a multidisciplinary medical centre.

2018 Year

Raffles Specialist Centre Opening of Raffles Hospital extension - Raffles Specialist Centre on 22nd Jan, 2018.

2019 Year

Raffles Hospital Chongqing Opening of Raffles Hospital Chongqing in January, 2019.

2021 Year

Raffles Hospital Beijing Opening of Raffles Hospital Beijing 2021.

2021 Year

Raffles Hospital Shanghai Opening of Raffles Hospital Shanghai in July, 2021.
