Dr Hang was awarded the Bachelor's degree in Clinical Medicine from Nanjing Medical University in 2002 and completed his PhD in Orthopaedic Surgery from Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University in 2007.
Dr Hang is an Orthopaedic surgeon with research interests in degenerative spine diseases. He is an Associate Chief Doctor of Orthopedics and joined Raffles Hospital Shanghai as a Consultant in 2022. Dr. Hang has published his research findings in international journals, such as Spine, CORR and SCD. Dr Hang has been awarded a grant from the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
Clinical Interest
- The scope of his practice includes minimally invasive/surgical treatment of various spinal diseases: such as lumbar spinal stenosis, lumbar spondylolisthesis, multiple types of disc herniation and ligament ossification, adult degenerative spinal deformity, spinal tuberculosis, infections and neurogenic spinal diseases, etc. In addition, Dr Hang is experienced in the management of orthopaedic traumas.
