Dr. Weng graduated with her medical degree in 2006 with a focus on Japanese studies in China Medical University. She later pursued and obtained a master's degree in Ophthalmology from Dalian University in 2009.
Dr. Weng worked in the Ophthalmology Department at Hokkaido University and its affiliated hospital. After she returned to China in 2021, she was an Attending Ophthalmologist in an international hospital before joining Raffles Hospital Shanghai in 2023 as a consultant. Dr. Weng is a member of the Japan Ophthalmology Society and the International Ocular Inflammation Society. She had numerous oral presentations and posters and was awarded the best oral presentation by the Japanese Society of Ocular Inflammation. Additionally, she has published a paper in the Journal of Medical Diagnostic Methods.

- Dr. Weng is experienced in diagnosing and treating a wide range of common eye diseases. She is skilled in performing cataract surgery, vitreous injections, and other external eye procedures, including pterygium surgery and blepharoplasty. Additionally, she is adept at using laser treatments for cataracts.
