The People of Raffles

Dr Yang received her medical degree from Gannan Medical University in 2008 and then obtained her master degree from TongJi University School of Medicine in 2022.

Dr Yang has practiced as a GP for the past 15 years and conducted research on general medicine in community hospitals across Shanghai. He has been serving as the deputy director of General Medicine in Shanghai community hospitals since 2022, then joined Raffles Hospital Shanghai as a Consultant Doctor of General Medicine in 2023. Dr Yang has three publications in Chinese medical journals such as the General Medicine. Amongst the first group of doctors qualified as medical instructors in Huangpu District, Dr Yang was responsible for two research projects of the district’s Science and Technology Commission and was awarded “Exemplary Individual of Shanghai Health and Family Planning System” in 2015-2017; in 2018, he was selected for the Shanghai Youth Medical Talent Training Programme funded by the city’s health department.
