Dr Xu received her medical degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine in 2000 and then obtained her master degree from Tongji University School of Medicine in 2014.
Dr Xu has practiced as an internist for 23 years and engaged in research work on gastroenterology in Shanghai East Hospital. She has been serving as an Associate Chief Physician of gastroenterology in Shanghai East Hospital since 2018, then joined Raffles Hospital Shanghai as a Consultant Doctor in 2023.
In the past five years, Dr Xu has participated as the main leader in three projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and one project funded by the Pudong New Area Health and Family Planning Commission, and has published a SCI research. (IF:9.68).
Clinical Interest
- Dr Xu’s specialty and interests include the diagnosis and treatment of various functional gastrointestinal diseases, gallbladder and pancreatic related diseases, helicobacter pylori and related diseases, as well as various liver diseases. She is also proficient in the routine operation of gastroscopy and various endoscopic surgical procedures below grade three.
