Dr Yao obtained his bachelor degree in 1984 and master degree in 1999 from top-notch medical schools and pursued studies in various renowned universities in China. He has published more than 90 research papers and won Zhejiang Science and Technology Progress Award twice and municipal Science and Technology Awards five times.
