Dr. Yu Yang, an associate chief physician in ophthalmology, graduated from Shanghai Railway Medical College (now Tongji University School of Medicine in Shanghai) in 1989. She has been engaged in ophthalmic clinical work for over 30 years and has worked at Beijing Shouda Eye & E.N.T Hospital of Beijing (a Grade-A tertiary specialized hospital) for many years. She is proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of cataracts and glaucoma.
Dr. Yu Yang possesses extensive clinical experience in conducting ophthalmic outpatient surgeries, including excision of small eyelid masses, incision and drainage of abscesses, resection of meibomian cysts, correction of eyelid entropion and ectropion, excision of pterygium with autologous conjunctival transplantation, removal of corneal and conjunctival foreign bodies, as well as debridement and suturing for anterior segment trauma.
Furthermore, Dr. Yu Yang has accumulated substantial expertise in the diagnosis and management of common ophthalmologic conditions encountered in outpatient settings, including dry eye syndrome, and in the prevention and control of myopia in children and adolescents.
