Doctor Liu Shasha graduated from the Academy of Military Medical Sciences with a master’s degree in surgery. She has worked in the plastic surgery department of the Armed Police Force Hospital for nearly 20 years. Dr Liu Shasha has also further studied and worked at Beijing Jishuitan Hospital, the Plastic Surgery Hospital of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (Located at Badachu) and Beijing Huangsi Plastic Surgery Hospital, as a key member of the teaching group that had led the development of plastic surgery technologies in China.

Dr Liu Shasha was also the scientific education expert panel member of Chinese Association of Plastic and Aesthetics, the member of China Association of Non-public Medical Institutions, and the committee member of China Plastic and Aesthetic Association's Injury Rescue and Treatment Branch. She also worked as the medical editorial board member of Chinese Plastic and Reconstructive Online Dictionary and wrote many popular science articles in the past years.
