With over a decade of expertise in clinical mental health and counseling  education, Emma Shi holds an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counselling  from Palo Alto University, USA, and an M.Ed. in Applied Psychology from  Nanjing Medical University, China. As a psychotherapist, Emma specializes in the treatment of various  mental health and behavioral issues, providing individual therapy and  couple therapy. Her extensive experience spans clinical, school (both  public and international), and university settings in Mainland China. Emma’s therapeutic approach is primarily based on Emotionally Focused  Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She is deeply committed  to using strength-based methodologies to empower clients, promote  personal growth, and enhance relationships. Emma is a Psychotherapist certified by the National Health Commission  of China, and a National Mental Health Counsellor (Level 2). She is  a member of Chi Sigma Iota (CSI) Honor Society, and a professional  member of American Counselling Association (ACA).
